Planning

  1. Prepare and update the cluster plan in terms of investable themes, investment requirements, and economic impact.
  2. Prepare and update annual budget and KPIs and related targets, in coordination with leadership.
Deals Origination
  1. Participate in roadshows, support cluster-specific events, and other communication activities in coordination with Abu Dhabi ecosystem players.
  2. Support engagement with industry leaders to establish in Abu Dhabi and create job opportunities, GDP, and FDI impact.
  3. Identify and qualify potential business opportunities for the targeted players utilizing ADIO’s network and reach.
Deals Review and Assessment
  1. Review potential deals submitted by international partners and assess alignment with strategy, commercial and financial sustainability, direct GDP contribution, FDI, and job creation.
  2. Engage Abu Dhabi’s players to test equity investment for those deals proposed by international partners.
  3. Submit standard report on the potential deal to the head of cluster for approval and next steps.
  4. Participate in DD and IPA process in coordination with Value Creation, if required.
Ecosystem Engagement
  1. Support the Abu Dhabi stakeholders to build the ecosystem across regulatory, infrastructure, funding, R&D, and talent development.
  2. Support in removing roadblocks, ensuring a soft landing in Abu Dhabi.
  3. Support Portfolio Management as requested for the companies.
  4. Refer smaller players to other Abu Dhabi respective entities.
Reporting
  1. Prepare bi-weekly and monthly reports for the activities planned and completed.
  2. Report on specific information about portfolio companies for ad-hoc requests.
Others
  1. Conduct special projects as requested by the leadership.
  2. Participate in training activities and other HR activities.
Qualifications and Experience
  1. Bachelor's degree in business administration, management, or a related field. A master's degree is preferred.
  2. CFA is a must.
  3. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  4. Demonstrated ability to drive results and meet targets.
  5. 2-5 years of experience.
