Commercial bank is looking to hire a Senior Wealth Quality Assurance to join our Wealth Management team. Summary:
  • The role is to ensure end-to-end testing of the Wealth Management Platform.
  • Ensure quality of product delivery is in line with business requirements.
  • Provide practical subject matter expertise for development of the platform.
  • Act as the platform champion and trainer to front line staff.
  • Provide insights for enhancements and improvements of the Wealth Management platform.

Key Accountabilities

  • Quality Assurance: Ensure the end-to-end testing cycle is aligned to business requirements. Review and analyze requirements and specifications to develop a comprehensive quality and test plan.
  • Test Planning: Ensure test plans are robust and cover requirements across all scenarios with appropriate test strategy documentation.
  • Test Case and Test Scenario: Responsible for evaluating testing scenarios for functional positive and negative testing. Support traceability matrix vis-à-vis functional specification/business requirement documentation.
  • Product vs System Compatibility: Ensure that delivered UAT environments are aligned to Wealth Products sold by the bank and that the Wealth advisory process is developed correctly.
  • Quality check test cases and test scenarios based on test basis documents (BRD), wealth product and advisory knowledge, experience, or industry standards.
  • Test Execution: Support testing, including manual and automated testing, analyze results, and submit observations to the development team. Record test evidences on DevOps tool.
  • Defect Management: Ensure testing teams create test-product documentation using DevOps tool and create bugs with relevant screenshots, participating in testing-related walkthroughs.
  • Responsible for performing post-production testing after all project releases.
  • Act as the product champion by providing training of Wealth modules to all potential users of Wealth Management and advisory.

Other Accountabilities

Required Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology or equivalent preferred.
  • Good knowledge of wealth management services and products.
  • Experience as Relationship Manager or Wealth Advisor.
  • Understanding of wealth management and investment product requirements & perform basic analysis.
  • Understanding of the advisory workflow and system functionalities. Functional certification in Wealth management domain is a plus.
  • Data Analysis: Strong analytical skills to analyze and interpret complex financial data, identify trends, and extract meaningful insights. Ability to work with large datasets, perform data mapping, and define data models for wealth management systems.
Experience:
  • Experience in software testing, quality assurance, or a related field is required, including manual testing, automated testing, and using various testing tools and technologies.
  • Previous experience as a Wealth Advisory/Relationship Manager is preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills to review and analyze requirements and specifications, and to identify and report defects or issues found during testing.
  • Excellent communication skills to work effectively with other team members, stakeholders, and vendors.
  • Strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and resolve issues found during testing.
  • Experience in test automation & test management tools (Bugzilla, Jmeter, LoadRunner, Spirateam, Qualitia, HP ALM, DevOps, UFT, Selenium, Scriptless Automation Tools, etc.).
  • A quality-focused mindset and understanding of testing best practices and industry standards.
  • A willingness to continuously learn new tools, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws.

Skills

  • Ability to interact with internal and external stakeholders in a multi-cultural environment.
  • Extensive knowledge of the banking sector in Qatar and the region.
  • Knowledge of AML/CFT process and KYC regulations.
  • Customer focus and strong customer service orientation.
