Tradition is currently seeking to appoint an IT Infrastructure Support Engineer to be based within the Dubai Office. Main responsibilities within the IT Infrastructure Support Engineer position include:

Monitor and maintain servers, networks, and storage systems to ensure high availability and performance.
Provide technical support, troubleshoot system issues, and perform root cause analysis to prevent future incidents.
Configure and manage network devices.
Configure, manage, and support Citrix environments for virtual desktop infrastructure.
Ensure regular backups, test recovery plans, and implement disaster recovery solutions for business continuity.
Configure automation processes for more repetitive tasks.
Work with cross-functional teams to keep track of document system configurations, procedures, and incident reports.

Key skills, experience and competencies required to be successful in this role:

Strong Knowledge of IT Infrastructure, including managing servers, storage systems, and network devices in Windows.
Strong Knowledge and experience managing Citrix environments and using virtualization technologies.
Experience configuring and troubleshooting network protocols, VPNs, firewalls.
Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, PowerShell, Python.
Knowledge of automation tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Terraform.
Previous experience with Reuters & Bloomberg would be advantageous.
Ability to solve problems and use initiative.
