We are hiring for Document Control Manager . Designation: Document Control Manager Contract Duration: Permanent Education: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience Industry: Construction Salary: TBD Experience: Minimum 15+ Years Experience in Similar Field 5+ Years of GCC Experience required as Senior Document Controller role in construction Industry. Only (Qatar) Locally Available candidates apply. Responsibilities:
- Implementing and managing a centralized document management system to ensure efficient storage, retrieval, version control, and security of corporate documents.
- Ensuring that all corporate documents comply with relevant regulatory requirements, industry standards, and internal IMS systems.
- Managing the entire lifecycle of corporate documents from creation to archiving or disposal, including regular reviews and updates as necessary.
- Collaborating with various departments and stakeholders to understand their document management needs and requirements and implementing solutions to meet those needs.
- Identifying and mitigating risks associated with document control, such as unauthorized access, data breaches, or document inaccuracies.
- Providing leadership and direction to the document control team, if applicable, and fostering a culture of accountability, professionalism, and continuous improvement.
- Develop and implement document control procedures and policies.
- Oversee the creation, review, distribution, and storage of documents.
- Maintain an organized and efficient document filing system.
- Ensure all documents are accurately labeled, versioned, and tracked.
- Train and support staff on document control processes and systems.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with document control procedures.
- Liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders to facilitate document exchange.
- Provide support during audits and inspections.
- Stay updated on industry standards and best practices in document control.
- Maintain and manage project files from project start to close out.
- Ability to maintain accurate and up to date records.
- High Level of discretion and ability to handle sensitive information.
- Document control, including classification, versioning, and labeling.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong leadership quality to lead independently.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to document control.
