AROMA 24/7, a leader in scent marketing and luxury ambient scenting, is looking for a highly organised and experienced Purchase & Logistics Manager . This role involves overseeing the procurement, inventory, and logistics processes to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and services. - Identify reliable suppliers and negotiate contracts to secure the best pricing and terms.
- Analyse market trends to forecast procurement needs and minimise costs.
- Maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure quality, timely delivery, and compliance with company standards.
- Develop and manage purchase orders, ensuring accurate documentation and reporting.
- Oversee the movement of goods from suppliers to the company and to clients, ensuring timely deliveries.
- Coordinate with freight forwarders, shipping agents, and customs for seamless import/export operations.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels to avoid shortages or overstocking.
- Ensure compliance with UAE customs regulations and documentation requirements.
- Plan and manage budgets related to logistics and procurement activities.
- Optimise the supply chain process to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Conduct risk assessments to address potential issues in procurement and logistics.
- Collaborate with internal teams such as sales, operations, and finance to align procurement and logistics strategies with company goals.
- Prepare and present reports on purchasing, inventory, and logistics performance.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years in a procurement, logistics, or supply chain role.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- Strong negotiation and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- Proficiency in inventory management systems and ERP software.
- Knowledge: Understanding of UAE customs regulations and supply chain operations.
- Additional: UAE experience and knowledge of the scent or FMCG industry is an advantage.
