Senior Commercial Manager - AED40k/month Our client, a leading Property Development arm of a well-known family group of companies, is looking for an experienced Arabic Speaking Commercial Manager to join their team in Dubai. Reporting to the General Manager of Property Development, you will be part of a team responsible for the project delivery department tasked with delivering the client's property development projects. In order to achieve this, my client is seeking someone who possesses both management and contracting skills, enabling them to understand the entire property development delivery process from site acquisition through feasibility, design, construction, sales/leasing, and occupancy phases. The project delivery solution focuses on maximizing project outcomes to meet the project objectives while minimizing project risk.

Job Responsibilities:

The Senior Commercial Manager's role involves executing professional duties to the highest possible standards. It is expected that the Senior Commercial Manager’s role will ensure sound people, project, and commercial management, and will require extensive experience including but not limited to the following key functions:

People Management: As Senior Commercial Manager, you will invest in sound people management principles to ensure that the team, including consultants, contractors, and partners, works well and provides a supportive environment for achieving project and individual objectives. Together with the General Manager of Property Development, manage the welfare and motivation of the team's direct and indirect reports, such as Senior Planning Engineer, Senior Project Managers, Project Managers, Document Controllers, and Administration Assistants, providing leadership, guidance, education, and encouragement. Plan for and undertake annual performance reviews in line with our client's processes.
Planning/Scheduling: Produce high-quality project plans and schedules.

Skills and Attributes:

As Senior Commercial Manager, you should be equipped to:

Manage and coordinate the inputs of project stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of each project;
Assess and resolve site planning and coordination issues;
Apply quality management principles and processes;
Apply risk assessment and management principles and processes;
Network effectively, negotiate well, and influence people, brokering relationships with stakeholders within and outside the project;
Identify and pursue other business development opportunities with an aim to grow the Client’s Group business.

Qualifications and Experience:

University educated with a minimum of a Property or Construction related Bachelor Degree. Preference for PMP qualified or RICS accredited. Preference for Master’s Degree in Construction or Property. Minimum 10 years’ experience in major development projects. Minimum 5 years’ experience in GCC, preferably Dubai. Specialist study in Contracts formation, management, and enforcement, especially FIDIC related study. #J-18808-Ljbffr
