Job Description
Responsible for full category management of Raw material, Packaging material, Contract Manufacturing and Finished Goods. This includes the following activities within category:- Management of vendor performance
- Issue and completion of RFP’s
- Execution of PR to PO
- Execution of contracts
- Providing input into budget pricing
- Supporting innovation
- Ensure compliance to competitive bidding and other procurement policies
- Tender evaluations within cross functional teams
- Timely budget completion
Other Administrative Activities:
- Manage PR’s received through online system (SAP)
- Align with Procurement Policy on competitive bidding
- Where not under contract, obtain quotes
- Execute translation to PO
- Assist in resolving Invoice/Payment issues
- Assist clearance department on managing documentation requirements, and follow up on demurrage claims
- Manage all other claims with suppliers
- Manage contract expiry, through renewal or tendering
Qualifications, Experience, & Skills:
Minimum Qualifications:- Bachelor degree in Business/Engineering/Sciences
- CIPS or Post Graduate certifications in supply chain and procurement favorable
- 3 years functional experience within procurement
- Ability to influence
- Ability to work in cross functional teams
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven abilities to plan and deliver
- Ability to prioritise
