Job ID: 2859349 | Amazon Web Services EMEA Dubai FZ Branch It’s still Day 1 for many organizations who are moving to the cloud. These early-stage companies often have questions about how to start their cloud journey, and they are asking AWS for prescriptive guidance on how to get started, accelerate their first projects, and build solid foundations to scale their cloud adoption. As a Senior BDM, Strategic Programs EMEA, you will have an exciting opportunity to shape and deliver programs for customers who are just getting started with AWS. You will own a strategic program aligned to one of AWS’ growth initiatives and lead engagements with business and technical executives. You will work backwards from customers’ business goals to identify how AWS can help accelerate achievement of their objectives. You will work closely with account teams to help them identify ways AWS can solve our customers’ biggest problems. In addition, you will build ways to track customer impact and use your experience to help improve our engagement model and scale the program. In this role, you will also collaborate with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders across AWS and our partners. You will be responsible for the program development and delivery and will drive to achieve ambitious output goals. You are a self-starter, able to build program mechanisms while at the same time building followership from stakeholders in Sales, Partner Management, Enablement, Marketing, and Solution Architecture. At the same time, you must be effective at facilitating sessions with senior customers around their business goals.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  1. Bachelor's degree
  2. Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level
  3. Experience managing programs across cross-functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
  4. 6+ years of professional or military experience
  5. Experience in business development roles (sales overlay), innovation advisory, or enterprise technology consulting in the context of AWS and with AWS partners

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  1. Experience influencing internal and external stakeholders
  2. 5+ years of cloud-related Business Development expertise
