Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Coordinator to join a global manufacturing company with a market value exceeding $6 billion. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in managing and coordinating all aspects of the supply chain, ensuring a seamless flow of goods, materials, and information. This position is key to driving operational efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and customer satisfaction through optimized procurement, logistics, and inventory management. Key Responsibilities:

Inventory Management (25%)
1. Monitor inventory levels to prevent shortages and overstocking.
2. Analyze forecast demand to ensure adequate inventory planning.
3. Review excess and obsolete inventory, recommending appropriate actions.
Procurement (40%)
1. Issue purchase orders to approved vendors based on demand using agreed terms.
2. Track and maintain open purchase orders with accurate delivery timelines.
3. Expedite orders to ensure on-time delivery as required.
Logistics (20%)
1. Ensure vendors provide accurate shipping documentation including Shipper Letters of Instruction.
2. Generate and maintain Advanced Shipping Notices (ASNs) to ensure precise arrival dates.
Compliance (10%)
1. Adhere to internationally recognized and company-mandated trade compliance practices.
Continuous Improvement (5%)
1. Participate in initiatives aimed at enhancing supply chain processes and efficiency.

Qualifications and Attributes:

Education and Professional Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
2. Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) or Lean Six Sigma certification is a plus.
Experience and Skills:
1. Proficiency in supply chain management within an ERP system.
2. Effective communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally.
3. Strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to safety culture.
