Roles and responsibilities

  • Achieve or exceed allocated sales target to contribute to company’s sales and returns objectives.
  • Follow the car sales process standards (prospecting, meeting, negotiating, delivering, etc.) to deliver the highest level of customer service to achieve the company's objectives of customer loyalty and retention.
  • Maintain awareness of the automotive industry, technical developments, market trends, competitor analysis, and auto finance knowledge to help achieve personal targets and company objectives, providing feedback for future planning.
  • Provide weekly and daily sales activity reports to the direct manager to ensure targets and other KPIs are on track.
  • Keep records and documentation aligned with rules, policies, regulations, and procedures.
  • Create, maintain, and provide accurate and timely sales reports and forecasts.
  • Maintain, develop, and build relationships with existing and new customers via meetings, calls, and emails.
Requirements
  • University degree in business or equivalent.
  • 2 - 3 years of experience in sales (preferably in auto sales or auto finance).
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Fluency in English.
  • UAE driver's license and own a car.
  • Team player.
  • Self-motivated and able to work under pressure.
  • Ability to work on Microsoft applications.
  • Sales Skills:
    • Strong ability to persuade, upsell, and close sales with customers. Understanding of sales techniques like BANT (Budget, Authority, Need, Timing) or AIDA (Attention, Interest, Desire, Action) can be beneficial.
  • Customer Service:
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage customers effectively and handle their queries or concerns.
  • Product Knowledge:
    • In-depth knowledge of the products or services being sold to assist customers with well-informed recommendations.
  • Problem-Solving:
    • The ability to address customer complaints or issues quickly and professionally, ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Communication Skills:
    • Clear and effective verbal communication, with the ability to listen to customers' needs and convey product information.
  • Time Management:
    • Ability to manage time effectively, especially when handling multiple customers or managing various tasks.
  • Attention to Detail:
    • Ensuring accuracy in transactions, product displays, and stock management.
  • Teamwork:
    • Ability to collaborate with colleagues and management, sharing ideas and contributing to the overall goals of the team.

    • Complaint Resolution: Addressing customer complaints or concerns in a professional manner, offering solutions or directing them to the appropriate channels for further assistance.
    • Building Customer Loyalty: Creating long-term relationships with customers, encouraging repeat business, and maintaining customer satisfaction.
  • Product Knowledge:
    • Understanding Products: Developing in-depth knowledge of the products or services being sold, including features, benefits, and pricing.
    • Staying Updated: Keeping up to date with new products, trends, and competitor offerings to maintain a competitive edge and effectively inform customers.
  • Sales Targets and Performance:
    • Achieving Sales Goals: Meeting or exceeding individual and team sales targets and contributing to the overall success of the store or organization.
    • Tracking Sales Metrics: Monitoring and reporting on sales performance, including daily, weekly, and monthly sales figures.
    • Incentives and Bonuses: Often working towards meeting specific sales goals that qualify for commissions or performance-based bonuses.
  • Inventory Management:
    • Stock Monitoring: Ensuring that products are available on the sales floor by tracking stock levels and informing management of low inventory.
    • Restocking and Merchandising: Assisting in restocking shelves, arranging displays, and ensuring products are presented attractively to customers.
    • Product Returns and Exchanges: Managing returns or exchanges of products, ensuring the process is smooth and aligned with store policies.
