Restaurant Manager (Italian Cuisine) DUOMO The Dubai EDITION marks a significant expansion for the brand into the Middle East's most popular travel destination. The hotel is situated in one of the city's most popular locations in Downtown Dubai, opposite the world-famous Dubai Mall. Designed with LW Design Group, the hotel features 275 guestrooms and suites. The property is home to multiple food and beverage outlets, a pool, a spa and a fitness centre, and dynamic events spaces boasting meeting rooms and a flexible ballroom. Responsibilities

  • Manage all F&B and day-to-day operations within budgeted lines and to the highest standard.
  • Supervise and manage employees.
  • Select, train, evaluate, lead, motivate, coach, and discipline all employees, supervisors and assistant managers.
  • Be visible in the operation, provide recognition, promote good public relations, and handle complaints, concerns or special requests for guests, clients, and group contacts.
  • Ensure the quality of all food items, ingredients, and preparation methods, as well as provide expert knowledge of wine and spirits in an elegantly appointed environment dedicated to an attentive and distinctive experience for each guest.
  • Observe the physical condition of facilities and equipment in the outlet and make recommendations for corrections and improvements as needed.
  • Maintain service and sanitation standards in the restaurant and room service areas.
  • Monitor appropriateness of ambience/atmosphere (e.g., lighting, music, table-top, etc.) restaurant concept, time of day, etc.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
  • Monitor compliance with all food & beverage policies, standards, and procedures, including food handling and sanitation standards.
  • Maintain excellent levels of internal and external customer service.
  • Manage daily operations so that customer expectations of quality and standards are met daily.
  • Monitor revenues and expenses.
Requirements High school diploma or 4 years UAE experience in food and beverage, or related professional area. OR 2-year degree from an accredited university in Food Service Management, Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major. 2 years of UAE experience in food and beverage, culinary, or related professional areas. #J-18808-Ljbffr
