Position: Interior Design Intern As an Interior Design Intern at Stantec, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects and gain hands-on experience in the field of interior design. You will be part of a dynamic team of professionals who are passionate about creating functional and aesthetically pleasing spaces.

Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate with the design team to develop interior design concepts and presentations.
  2. Assist in space planning, material selection, and furniture selection.
  3. Create 2D and 3D renderings to communicate design ideas.
  4. Participate in client meetings and presentations.
  5. Conduct research on materials, products, and design trends.
  6. Assist in preparing construction documents and specifications.
  7. Visit project sites to assist with site measurements and documentation.
  8. Support the team in completing tasks and meeting project deadlines.

Qualifications:

  1. Currently pursuing a degree in Interior Design or a related field.
  2. Strong design skills and creativity.
  3. Basic CAD and Revit knowledge.
  4. Proactive attitude.
  5. Interest in photography, learning design, or similar.
  6. Excellent communication and time management skills; good presenter and listener.
  7. Ability to work well in a team environment.
  8. Previous internship experience is a plus.
