The scope of work includes the following activities but not limited to:
  • Scheduled visits of trained personnel directly employed and supervised by the Service Provider to carry out periodic servicing at least once every 3 months. This should include detailed inspections, checking & servicing of the System, lubrication of moving parts, cleaning of contacts, adjustments, calibration, and any other general maintenance as required by the manufacturer’s operating and maintenance manual or industry best practices. All basic consumables, oils, and cleaning materials are included.
  • Inspection of safety devices, power cables, motors, gearboxes, electrical devices, and controls. Visual inspection of tracks and rails for abnormal conditions.
  • Response times: If any problem is identified and reported to the Service Provider between the scheduled visits, the Service Provider must rectify within 4 hours of receipt of urgent requests and 48 hours of receipt of non-urgent requests. If the rectification requires replacement of any part, it should be completed within 1 day for urgent requests and 5 days of reporting or acceptance of quotation for non-urgent variations that are not warranty repairs.
  • Any spare parts replacements related to the System provided by ICM should be installed free of cost during the scheduled maintenance visits.
  • Emergency call-out service for trapped person rescue.
  • Call-out for unscheduled repairs.
  • Recommendations and suggestions for safe operation of the systems.
  • Record checklist and written report submitted to Facilities Manager to maintain equipment history.
  • The Service Provider, at their own cost, shall make good all damages, losses, burnouts, etc., which may be attributable to any fault, negligence, faulty operation, inadequate preventive maintenance, and/or mishandling of equipment. The decision of ICM in this regard shall be final and binding.
  • The Service Provider provides operation training to site security staff on how to operate the System and carry out basic maintenance to address and prevent basic troubles.
Vendors should only submit a fully detailed proposal after a site visit to ensure the full scope of work required and access conditions are fully understood.
