Job Description: A Rigging Engineer designs and oversees the installation of rigging systems for lifting equipment and structures. They analyze project requirements, develop rigging plans, and select appropriate equipment and materials. The engineer ensures compliance with safety standards and regulations, as well as performs inspections and tests to ensure the integrity of the rigging systems. Responsibilities

  • Analyze project requirements and develop rigging plans.
  • Select suitable rigging equipment and materials.
  • Design and calculate rigging systems for lifting heavy loads.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
  • Supervise and coordinate rigging operations.
  • Inspect rigging systems for damages and perform maintenance.
  • Conduct tests and simulations to evaluate rigging performance.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to project teams.
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
  • Previous experience in rigging design and installation.
  • Strong knowledge of rigging standards and regulations.
  • Proficiency in using CAD software for rigging designs.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
  • Professional certification in rigging engineering is a plus.
Requirements:

  • Previous experience in rigging design and installation.
