Job Title: Integrated Control and Safety System (ICSS) Lead Location: Doha/India/Vietnam/Malaysia/Oman/China/Korea/Singapore Doha Logistics allowance: SINGLE status Mob date: 1-NOV-2023 Demob date: 31-OCT-2025 Accountabilities:

  1. The job holder is accountable for all ICSS activities during project execution.
  2. Develop and implement all necessary tools and procedures related to ICSS management activities.
  3. Manage and coordinate ICSS OEM during ICSS Phase 1 (core dossier) before assignment to EPCIC contractors.
  4. Manage and coordinate with the platform EPCIC contractors the ICSS systems activities for the Project.
  5. Assist EPCIC contractors for the design of the Integrated Control & Safety System (ICSS) for Project for Phase 2 (from assignment till start-up).
  6. Follow up, coordinate, and supervise the platform EPCIC contractors for the ICSS studies to be carried out for Phase 2 (from assignment till start-up).
  7. Be involved in the instrument discipline all EPCIC during engineering, construction up to pre-commissioning and provide assistance/support to commissioning/start-up personnel.
  8. Ensure that ICSS complies with detailed engineering, contracts, schedule, budgets, and safety practices.
  9. Coordinate the work with the process design team, the safety design team, and the operation team to define and implement all the requirements in the Integrated Control & Safety System (ICSS).
  10. Supervise cybersecurity for the ICSS during the Project.
  11. Avoid contractor stand-by/delays by prompt response to site queries and unexpected technical problems.
  12. Assist Project Manager upon request on ICSS matters during project execution.
  13. Report and liaise with Project Manager as needed.
Specialisation: Automation, Process Control, ESD, and F&G. Qualifications:
  1. Graduate engineer with 15 years’ experience in Oil and Gas field development projects.
  2. Specialist with extensive experience of field instrumentation as well as control and safety systems.
  3. Detailed experience of the operating and control philosophy of offshore plants.
  4. Extensive experience of monitoring construction and commissioning performed by an EPCIC contractor.
  5. Good level of technical understanding of all relevant technical disciplines, with experience of engineering supervision on onshore/offshore oil & gas projects, knowledge of relevant codes and standards.
  6. Fluency in English (speaking and writing) with good communication skills, computer literate.
  7. Strong leadership skills and good communication skills.
  8. Ability to work on projects in a complex and multicultural environment.
