Overview

As Project Coordinator, you will play a critical role in advising on and managing Public-Private Partnerships (PPP) and real estate transactions. The successful candidate will be proactive, analytical, and capable of managing projects from inception through to financial close. The candidate will also be responsible for writing reports, updating trackers, presenting weekly updates to clients, and providing critical inputs for project work. Additionally, you will need to understand complex regulatory environments and drive value through innovative PPP solutions.

Responsibilities

  1. Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and schedules.
  2. Ensure that all deliverables are completed in line with project timelines and in accordance with company and industry best practices.
  3. Assist with report writing, financial analysis, and proposal documents.
  4. Create and maintain accurate, orderly, and up-to-date files and records of project documentation, including contracts, scope of work, schedules, and communication.
  5. Communicate regularly with clients to update them on project status, milestones, and deadlines.
  6. Understand clients' needs and expectations, ensuring the project aligns with them and address clients' concerns promptly and professionally.
  7. Monitor project progress, identify any delays, issues, or potential risks, and proactively highlight them to the project manager or technical team.
  8. Prepare and submit regular progress reports to clients outlining key milestones, challenges, and next steps.
  9. Conduct primary research where required as critical inputs to project work.
  10. Update and source secondary data to ensure project information is current and accurate.
  11. Keep abreast of key trends and developments in real estate and PPP sectors, regionally and globally.
  12. Prepare business cases, including strategic, economic, and financial studies.
  13. Act as the main point of contact for all project-related inquiries within the team.
  14. Contribute to business development efforts and attend networking events as required.
  15. Cross-sell opportunities into regional and global teams and liaise with internal departments to coordinate inputs and reports.
  16. Ensure that all work adheres to the highest quality standards both locally and internationally.
  17. Build and maintain trust, confidentiality, and strong relationships with clients to foster a professional image of the Partnership.
  18. Perform other tasks as needed, depending on the project and business requirements.

Skills and Qualifications

  1. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Economics, Finance, Real Estate, or a related field.
  2. A minimum of 2 to 4 years’ experience in project coordination, preferably in the real estate sector. Previous experience in the KSA market and an understanding of its regulatory environment is preferred.
  3. Strong organizational and time-management skills to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
  4. Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills with the ability to write reports, proposals, and progress updates.
  5. Proven project management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently.
  6. Strong analytical thinking to interpret complex data and regulatory environments.
  7. Exceptional research skills, with experience sourcing primary and secondary data to inform project work.
  8. A strong team player with the ability to build relationships.
  9. High attention to detail when reviewing contracts, reports, and financial data.
  10. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
  11. Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively with team members.
  12. Understanding of regional business culture and regulations.
  13. Proficiency in utilizing computers and information technology including Knight Frank internal systems.
  14. Certifications and Licenses: KSA driving license.
  15. Software: Microsoft Office programs to an advanced level, particularly Excel. Familiarity with financial modeling software and tools would be beneficial.
  16. Language skills: Fluency in English, written and verbal. Fluency in Arabic or other languages is advantageous.
  17. Travel: Flexible attitude towards traveling.
