Experienced HSE Manager with proven track record of managing large scale renewable energy projects required to develop, implement and oversee all aspects of Health, Safety, and Environmental programs across all solar PV projects in the UAE and wider Gulf region. Responsibilities:

  1. Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive HSE policies, procedures, and programs in accordance with international standards (e.g., ISO 45001, ISO 14001).
  2. Conduct regular site inspections and safety audits to identify and assess potential hazards.
  3. Investigate and analyze accidents and incidents, implement corrective and preventive actions, and prepare accident reports.
  4. Develop and deliver HSE training programs for all project personnel, including site workers, subcontractors, and management.
  5. Conduct toolbox talks and safety briefings to raise awareness of safety hazards and best practices.
  6. Ensure compliance with all applicable local, regional, and international HSE regulations and permits.
  7. Manage emergency response procedures and conduct drills to ensure preparedness for potential incidents.
  8. Monitor and track key HSE performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare regular reports.
  9. Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and regulatory authorities on all HSE matters.
  10. Promote a strong safety culture within the organization and on all project sites.
Requirements:
  1. Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
  2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in HSE management within the construction industry, with a strong preference for experience in the solar PV sector.
  3. NEBOSH or equivalent HSE qualifications.
  4. Strong knowledge of relevant HSE legislation and regulations in the UAE and wider Gulf region.
  5. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  7. Experience working in the Middle East region is preferred.
  8. Fluency in English is required; Arabic language skills are a plus.
