Events Operations Manager – Strategic Growth and Client Relations

KEY DUTIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES Strategic:
  • Act as a business lead for Qatar operations, opportunity to grow a new market autonomously.
  • Develop and implement new business opportunities to drive growth.
  • Develop rapport and build strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Maintain and enhance relationships with new and existing clients, ensuring their needs and expectations are met, as directed by the VP Business Operations.
  • Oversee the operational budgets, processes and financial performance to ensure alignment with the organization's strategic goals.
  • Collaborate across relevant departments to maintain and enhance operations for multiple stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain business relationships and design policies which allow client relations to thrive.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices to inform strategic decisions.
Operational:
  • Review and understand all operational obligations to ensure project delivery aligns with the scope and objectives.
  • Liaise with suppliers and venue to ensure services are secured and well-executed.
  • Develop relationship with permit authorities to ensure event licenses are secured.
  • Support the event delivery team to ensure successful execution of projects.
  • Manage project administration tasks including reports, agendas, minutes, and communication tracking.
  • Ensure all contractual and financial obligations are delivered to the highest standard.
  • Secure venues, suppliers, event permits for operational success.
  • Maintain and grow key partner relationships.
  • Develop new business and prepare pitch presentations.
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
  • Degree in business administration or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in a senior level role in client services or account management, in the entertainment/events industry.
  • Proven track record of success in developing and implementing operational plans.
  • Passion for live events.
  • Bilingual, with proficiency in both Arabic and English is preferred.
