Job Purpose: To encompass multiple disciplines ensuring the functionality of du offices, retail, and warehouses by integrating people, places, processes, and technology. Maintain all du assets for offices, warehouses, and retail outlets through efficient and effective maintenance to prolong the asset life cycle and decrease life cycle maintenance costs. Manage outsourced contractors to ensure that all facilities-related issues (hard, soft services, and administration) are handled in a professional manner, providing a comfortable working environment for du customers and employees. To design, review, and manage mechanical and audio-visual services within facilities projects, coordinating with project stakeholders at design and execution stages to deliver the project according to company standards, local authority regulations, and as per the allocated budget, time frame, and quality required. Key Accountabilities:
- Manage the facilities services portfolio (planning, organizing, auditing, reporting, review & improvement) such as:
- Maintenance of MEP services, AV services, fire services, and specialized services.
- Soft services.
- Administration.
- Planning, implementation, and reporting of preventive maintenance for all the assets of du.
- Develop communication plans for internal and external customers.
- Plan and organize bi-weekly/monthly meetings to monitor and evaluate facilities operations.
- Create operational and HSE audit plans for the vendors.
- Develop SOPs and job plans for the assets to ensure quality maintenance.
- Develop a business continuity plan comprising emergency and risk management plans and procedures.
- Prepare an energy management plan based on sustainable and LEED strategies.
- Prepare feasibility reports of new projects for mechanical services through site surveys and review of as-built drawings.
- Develop and prepare heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning (HVAC), firefighting, plumbing, and drainage design drawings including calculations, specifications, and bill of quantities.
- Coordinate all services such as electrical, HVAC, fire alarm, firefighting, access control, small power, lighting, CCTV, drainage, and chilled water systems during design and execution stages.
- More than 7 years’ experience in facilities management operations, audio-visual, and mechanical design.
- Project management experience is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering (mechanical/electrical).
- Energy management certifications are a plus.
- LEED accreditation is a plus.
