Deputy CEO Location; Jeddah, Saudi Arabia Sector; Contracting (marine, civil, infrastructure) Projects; Marine, civil, infrastructure and Landscaping ($50m - $250m USD) Staff; 800 (direct and indirect reports) Our client is an established construction company registered in Saudi Arabia with over 20 year’s experience in delivering some of the country’s most significant marine, civil and infrastructure projects. Role Overview: The Deputy CEO will serve as a strategic partner to the CEO, supporting the leadership and management of the organization. The role involves overseeing key business operations, driving strategic initiatives, ensuring alignment across departments, and fostering a high-performance culture. The ideal candidate will be a visionary leader with strong business acumen and a proven track record in executive management. Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the CEO to define and execute the company’s vision, mission, and strategic goals.
- Identify growth opportunities and lead the development of innovative strategies to achieve them.
- Represent the organization in meetings with key stakeholders, including investors, partners, and government bodies.
- Oversee day-to-day business operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
- Mentor and develop senior leadership, fostering a culture of accountability and professional growth.
- Identify and mitigate risks to the organization’s growth and reputation.
- Proven experience in a senior leadership role, such as COO, CFO, or a similar position.
- Strong strategic planning and business development skills.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
- Proven track record of driving organizational growth and transformation.
- A degree in business administration, management, or a related field; an MBA is preferred.
