Key Responsibilities : Retail store audits (BOE – Barometer of Operational Excellence):

Discuss and review the BOE -audit plan and schedule on a regular basis.
Assist in internal audit team in audit planning at the KSA level.
Review compliance with policies, SOPs, standards, laws and regulations that could have significant impact upon store operations.
Retail store assets verification and finding the variances with action plan.
BOE training for retail stores on the policies and SOPs in line with corporate BOE checklist.

BOE - Audit Planning:

Conduct audit assignments in line with the internal audit plan and within the budgeted time adopting the audit checklist and appropriate audit techniques.
Identify system control and documentation.
Assist in preparing draft reports for presentation to business entity managers and preliminary agenda of recommendations and comments for closing meetings.
Update and inform the department head about the status, key concern areas observed during audit execution periodically.
Compile & review draft Internal audit report according to the required standards.

Exceptions Alerts:

Review high exceptions alerts as Delete/Cancel & Override on weekly basis.
Ensure SUKRAN exception cases investigated and closed on observation basis.

Stock Take:

Visit prior to stock take preparation for follow up with pre stock take checklist and attending.
Share corrective measures to cut down the shrinkages at retail stores.
Finding the issues /observations should be addressed to respective departments.

Damages Store/WH:

Visit the stores & WH to verify monthly damages.
Ensure the store / WH damages within budgeted norms.
Ensure all the declared damages should be disposed on monthly basis.

BOE Auditor requirements:

Should be ready to travel within the territories for audits.
Should have experience of working on Microsoft excel and PowerPoint.
Minimum qualification bachelor’s degree (B-com)
Minimum 2 years of experience in retail audit field.
