Key Responsibilities : Retail store audits (BOE – Barometer of Operational Excellence):

  • Discuss and review the BOE -audit plan and schedule on a regular basis.
  • Assist in internal audit team in audit planning at the KSA level.
  • Review compliance with policies, SOPs, standards, laws and regulations that could have significant impact upon store operations.
  • Retail store assets verification and finding the variances with action plan.
  • BOE training for retail stores on the policies and SOPs in line with corporate BOE checklist.
BOE - Audit Planning:
  • Conduct audit assignments in line with the internal audit plan and within the budgeted time adopting the audit checklist and appropriate audit techniques.
  • Identify system control and documentation.
  • Assist in preparing draft reports for presentation to business entity managers and preliminary agenda of recommendations and comments for closing meetings.
  • Update and inform the department head about the status, key concern areas observed during audit execution periodically.
  • Compile & review draft Internal audit report according to the required standards.
Exceptions Alerts:
  • Review high exceptions alerts as Delete/Cancel & Override on weekly basis.
  • Ensure SUKRAN exception cases investigated and closed on observation basis.
Stock Take:
  • Visit prior to stock take preparation for follow up with pre stock take checklist and attending.
  • Share corrective measures to cut down the shrinkages at retail stores.
  • Finding the issues /observations should be addressed to respective departments.
Damages Store/WH:
  • Visit the stores & WH to verify monthly damages.
  • Ensure the store / WH damages within budgeted norms.
  • Ensure all the declared damages should be disposed on monthly basis.
BOE Auditor requirements:
  • Should be ready to travel within the territories for audits.
  • Should have experience of working on Microsoft excel and PowerPoint.
  • Minimum qualification bachelor’s degree (B-com)
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in retail audit field.
