SLS Dubai Hotel and Residences is a luxury lifestyle 5-star city hotel which belongs to Ennismore under the wider Accor group umbrella.Boasting 946 units, with 254 uniquely designed hotel rooms, 321 hotel apartments and 371 Branded Residences, spread over 75 floors, SLS Dubai is one of the tallest hotels and residences in the region.A wondrous and striking landmark in Downtown District, designed by the award-winning architects Aedas and interior designer Paul Bishop, the SLS Dubai is a unique cabinet of curiosities that never ceases to delight.Job DescriptionDevelop and implement security policies and procedures in line with the hotel's standards.Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify potential risks and vulnerabilities.Manage and oversee the security team, including training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.Respond promptly to security incidents, emergencies, and alarms, including fire, theft, or other disturbances.Investigate and document incidents, ensuring proper reporting and follow-up.Liaise with local law enforcement and emergency services as necessary.Maintain accurate records of security activities, incidents, and inspections.Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations regarding security and safety.Prepare and present security reports to hotel management.QualificationsEducation: High school diploma or equivalent required; a degree in criminal justice, security management, or a related field is preferred.Experience: Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field, preferably within the hospitality industry.Skills: Strong observational skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in operating security systems and technology.Certifications: Security-related certifications or licenses may be required or preferred, such as CPR/First Aid certification.
