Livestock Specialist Vacancy in Zayed City, UAE
We are seeking a Livestock Specialist to join our team in Zayed City, United Arab Emirates. The ideal candidate will have experience working with animals and a passion for livestock development. Responsibilities include:- Developing strategies for improving livestock production efficiency
- Monitoring the health and well-being of animals on the farm
- Providing advice on feed and animal nutrition
- Identifying new breeds of livestock for improved production
- Maintaining records of animal births, deaths, and vaccinations
- Evaluating existing livestock to identify potential development opportunities
- Liaising with veterinarians to ensure the correct treatment of animals
- Assisting with research projects related to animal care and welfare
- Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science, Veterinary Medicine, or related field
- Proven experience working with animals such as cows, sheep, goats, pigs, or horses
- Knowledge of animal nutrition and health needs
- Ability to identify health problems in animals and take corrective action accordingly
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Preferred nationality: Egyptian; Preferred language: English; Own visa preferred. Freshers can also apply.
