Job Title: Food and Beverage Manager Location: Doha, Qatar Summary: We are currently seeking a talented Food and Beverage Manager to join our team in Doha, Qatar. As a Food and Beverage Manager in the Hospitality & Tourism industry, your primary responsibility will be to oversee and manage the food and beverage operations within our establishment. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a dynamic individual to lead a team and ensure exceptional dining experiences for our guests. Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement strategies to enhance the food and beverage offerings and maximize revenue opportunities.
  2. Manage and coordinate all aspects of food and beverage operations, including menu planning, purchasing, inventory management, and cost control.
  3. Ensure the highest standards of quality in food preparation, presentation, and service.
  4. Train, supervise, and motivate the food and beverage team, including waitstaff, chefs, bartenders, and support staff.
  5. Monitor and evaluate guest satisfaction levels, addressing any concerns or issues promptly and effectively.
  6. Collaborate with the culinary team to create innovative menus that cater to diverse customer preferences and dietary requirements.
  7. Implement and enforce health and safety regulations, as well as food hygiene standards.
  8. Manage relationships with suppliers and negotiate contracts to secure the best quality ingredients and products at competitive prices.
  9. Analyze financial performance, prepare budgets, and implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality.
  10. Stay updated with industry trends, new food and beverage concepts, and emerging customer preferences.
Desired Candidate Profile: Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Culinary Arts, or a related field. Relevant certifications are advantageous.
  • Proven experience as a Food and Beverage Manager or in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
  • Strong knowledge of food and beverage operations, including menu planning, food preparation, and service standards.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse workforce.
  • Strong understanding of cost control, budgeting, and financial analysis within the food and beverage context.
  • Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to ensure outstanding dining experiences for guests.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations, food hygiene standards, and licensing requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with guests, staff, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities to handle unexpected situations and resolve issues.
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken. Knowledge of Arabic is advantageous.
