As a Vaccine Key Account Manager , you will be responsible for the implementation of GSK customer management concept with key accounts and proactively contacting purchasers & other stakeholders in your assigned accounts within a designated territory, ensuring GSK Vaccines are accessible to help the patients do more, feel better, and live longer. This role will provide you the opportunity to lead key activities to progress your career. These responsibilities include some of the following: Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure all activities are executed in line with related SOPs, policies, and local regulations.
- Maintain a positive working environment within the team, fostering collaborative teamwork and an inspiring culture.
- Demonstrate accountability on your target accounts (own the business).
- Identify and segment accounts (i.e., private hospitals or accounts) leveraging the total GSK Vx portfolio.
- Identify key decision makers within key accounts and understand their objectives and key drivers/barriers to purchasing GSK products.
- Develop business partner relationships with senior stakeholders in key accounts, customizing and negotiating win/win value propositions.
- Ensure products are available “on the shelf,” thus fulfilling the demand generated by GSK detailing teams.
- Provide input into marketing strategic planning, particularly around classic brands and the inclusion of innovative brands in key hospitals.
- Contribute to the control of R&A, aiming to improve Gross TO Net.
- Annual certification with full alignment to all related SOPs, policies, and local regulations.
- Achieve GSK basic standards in disease and product knowledge.
- Meet GSK standards of Commercial KPIs.
- Drive the commercial plan through proper interaction with key stakeholders.
- Conduct market intelligence and provide timely feedback.
- Care about GSK assets and optimize company resources.
- Ensure proper use of GSK assets and systems (CTC Connect / SOS) to track & report expiry, follow stock averages of key brands, and monitor hospital introduction status of new launches.
- Develop robust partnerships with GSK distributors.
- Monitor the demand process from ordering to delivery in strict compliance with GSK standards and guidance.
- Develop detailed annual strategic account plans.
- Ensure all activities are executed in line with related SOPs, policies, and local regulations.
- Timely completion of field activities.
- Meet the defined skills standards measured by in-field coaching.
- Ensure customer satisfaction in the defined territory.
- Minimum 3-4 years’ experience working with Pharma or Healthcare companies in KSA.
- Vaccine experience is a plus.
- Good understanding of key account management and development of business plans.
- Forecasting and planning skills.
- Financial acumen.
- Ideally, should have managed large hospitals and engaged in purchasing/stock management and access to new products.
- Ability to demonstrate drive for performance and a business development mindset.
- Effective use of key software products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Professional negotiation skills.
- Unmatched sense of customer service and satisfaction.
- Understanding of business dynamics and key challenges.
- Ability to grasp and implement the principles of KAM.
