Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and efficient Purchasing Executive to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. As a key member of our procurement department, you will be responsible for managing the purchasing process, negotiating with suppliers, and ensuring cost-effective acquisition of goods and services for our organization. You will be working closely with the Purchasing Manager to ensure that the purchasing system is effective and that all supplies, equipment, and relevant services are purchased while maintaining high quality standards and cost effectiveness. You will be responsible for processing payments for all projects as agreed, issuing purchasing orders for all reimbursements and contract fees, processing budget setups in Oracle with the accounting team, conducting payment forecasts for all projects, and sourcing supplier data.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement purchasing strategies to optimize cost savings and improve efficiency
  • Analyze market trends, pricing, and supplier performance to make informed purchasing decisions
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with vendors to secure favorable terms and conditions
  • Manage the entire procurement process, from requisition to delivery
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their needs and source appropriate products or services
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other relevant data
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, UAE regulations, and international trade laws
  • Prepare and analyze procurement reports to identify areas for improvement
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in purchasing and supply chain management

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in any field. • Minimum 2-3 years of project and construction purchasing experience. • Working knowledge in project scheduling, purchasing, shipping Incoterms and processes. • Good team player with integrity, interpersonal, organization and time management skills. • Work well under pressure and able to work independently. • Good writing, documentation, coordination, and analytical skills. #J-18808-Ljbffr
