Stantec is looking to hire a Resident Engineer for Water Infrastructure Projects in Dubai. The selected candidate shall have a Civil Engineering Degree and 20 years of extensive experience working on House Connection and Miscellaneous Works with approval from Dubai Municipality. Qualifications:

  1. The candidate must have experience in infrastructure projects in Dubai and have completed a few projects as a Resident Engineer.
  2. The Resident Engineer must have full and complete knowledge of the existing sewerage and drainage networks in the Emirate of Dubai.
  3. Previous experience working on projects with existing House Connection and Miscellaneous Works is essential.
  4. Experience working exclusively in DM projects is required.
  5. Thorough knowledge and work experience of not less than 20 years in sewerage and drainage connections and miscellaneous works.
  6. Experience in dealing with emergency works related to large diameters of pressure mains.
  7. Ability to evaluate the time to complete emergency works and make on-the-spot decisions.
  8. Capability to deal with all service authorities while managing emergency works.
  9. Thorough knowledge and experience in the design of sewerage and drainage works.
  10. Good knowledge of RTA standards with respect to methods of excavation and backfilling, asphalt & tiles reinstatement.
