Media Sales Executive

Job Purpose Bring new revenue into digital products, delivering content marketing, thought leadership placement, and online advertising revenue growth. The sales executive will be responsible for discovering and pursuing new sales prospects, negotiating deals, while maintaining and growing business with existing customers. This role will interact with small, medium, and high-profile accounts within the energy value chain. We are looking for a competitive, dynamic, and trustworthy sales executive to help build our business. If you have excellent communication skills and feel comfortable reaching out to potential customers to demonstrate our services and products through email and phone, we'd like to meet you. Key Accountabilities
- Actively seek new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, and social media.
- Set up meetings with potential clients to understand their business needs. Prepare and deliver appropriate presentations and proposals on products and services.
- Manage existing accounts to maintain business relations and grow commercial cooperation.
- Negotiate/close deals and handle complaints or objections.
- Achieve and exceed agreed show and personal revenue and profit targets.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve better results. Work closely with editorial and marketing teams to operate as one team.
- Attend events and liaise with exhibitor and sponsor clients onsite to ensure that their contract is fulfilled, and all their concerns and needs are addressed.
- Keep up to date via a wide range of material including various industry publications relevant to the topic areas and audiences of assigned conferences for developments and trends in the industry.
- Understand market trends, changes, and overall situations to be able to offer value propositions to clients.
