We are hiring a Purchase/ Procurement Officer for General Purchase items.Job Description:Sourcing Suppliers: Identifying and evaluating potential suppliers of raw materials, ingredients, packaging materials, and equipment necessary for food production.Negotiation: Negotiating contracts, prices, and terms with suppliers to ensure favorable terms for the company while maintaining quality standards.Supplier Relationship Management: Developing and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers to ensure reliability, quality, and timely delivery of goods.Inventory Management: Monitoring inventory levels and managing procurement schedules to ensure that adequate supplies are available to meet production demands while minimizing excess inventory.Cost Management: Continuously seeking cost-saving opportunities through supplier negotiations, process improvements, and alternative sourcing strategies.Quality Assurance: Collaborating with quality control and assurance teams to ensure that all procured materials meet the company's quality and safety standards.Compliance: Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards governing food production, safety, and procurement practices.Risk Management: Identifying and mitigating risks related to supply chain disruptions, quality issues, and supplier dependencies.Data Analysis: Analyzing procurement data to identify trends, track performance metrics, and make data-driven decisions to optimize procurement processes.Continuous Improvement: Continuously seeking opportunities to improve procurement processes, streamline operations, and enhance efficiency and effectiveness.Job Type: Full-timeApplication Question(s):Do you have experience in General Purchase?
