Job Description: We are seeking a motivated and experienced Sales Manager with a Travel Trade background to support the sales team in achieving revenue targets and fostering long-term relationships with clients. In this role, you will assist in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, as well as managing accounts and contracts to ensure customer satisfaction and retention. Key Responsibilities:

  1. Support the Sales Manager in developing and implementing strategic sales plans to achieve revenue goals and targets.
  2. Assist in prospecting, lead generation, and qualification of new business opportunities.
  3. Manage a portfolio of corporate clients, travel agencies, event planners, and other stakeholders in the hospitality industry.
  4. Conduct sales presentations, site inspections, and client meetings to promote our property's facilities and services.
  5. Collaborate with the sales team and other departments to create customized proposals and packages tailored to meet the needs of clients.
  6. Assist in negotiating contracts, pricing, and terms with clients to maximize revenue and profitability.
  7. Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, including pipelines, forecasts, and conversion rates, to identify areas for improvement.
  8. Keep abreast of market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify opportunities for business growth.
  9. Represent the Fairmont brand with professionalism and integrity at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions.
  10. Provide leadership and support to junior members of the sales team as needed.
Qualifications:
  1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or related field.
  2. Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in sales, preferably in the hospitality or luxury service industry.
  3. Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets and building client relationships.
  4. Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and CRM software.
  6. Flexibility to travel as needed for client meetings and events.
  7. Knowledge of the local market and industry trends in Delhi is an advantage.
