Job details

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Purchase Officer/Coordinator to manage our procurement activities. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in purchasing, with an advantage for those with a background in import and export.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure timely and cost-effective purchasing.
Manage supplier relationships and negotiate contracts and agreements.
Coordinate with various departments to determine purchasing needs and specifications.
Prepare and process purchase orders and ensure compliance with company policies.
Monitor inventory levels and manage stock replenishment.
Handle documentation and processes related to import and export activities.
Stay updated on market trends and identify new suppliers and products.
Ensure timely delivery of goods and services and resolve any issues related to shipments.

Desired Candidate Profile:

Proven experience as a Purchase Officer, Procurement Manager, or similar role.
Strong knowledge of supply chain management and procurement processes.
Advantageous to have experience in import and export operations.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and procurement software.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred.
