Premium Solutions Consultancy Doha, Qatar Required on urgent basis for a big group in the construction & engineering sector to hire a local MEP Engineer with the following responsibilities:

Main Job Description:

  1. Support the General Manager in contract administration and decision making to ensure smooth progress and successful completion of various projects, considering project schedule, budgeted cost, project specifications, and requirements.
  2. Responsible for the overall planning, design review, engineering, coordination, procurement, and execution of the complete scope of works covered under the respective discipline.
  3. Oversee day-to-day operations of the projects.
  4. Visit the project site weekly and report to management regarding project progress.
  5. Develop customized plans for clients to enhance energy-saving opportunities.
  6. Provide efficient maintenance support services to clients.
  7. Design and supervise maintenance services including regular inspections, weekly progress meetings, and planned preventive maintenance programs.
  8. Coordinate with local authorities to ensure timely approval of drawings and service connections.
  9. Identify training needs of team members and arrange suitable training for skill enhancement.
  10. Represent the company in all dealings with customers, project managers, consultants, and contractors to ensure contract compliance.
  11. Handle communication with clients and consultants.
  12. Identify, evaluate, and periodically assess vendors and subcontractors.
  13. Ensure timely mobilization of manpower.
  14. Administer and manage all project-related staff.
  15. Control labor management, approve labor leave, and submit requests to the General Manager for final approval.
  16. Ensure provision of manpower and material resources.
  17. Deploy qualified and trained manpower in a timely manner.
  18. Conduct staff and management meetings for efficient project execution.
  19. Attend Management Review Meetings of the Quality & HSE Management System.
  20. Ensure compliance with IMS Procedures.
  21. Authorized to stop work if any major/minor deviations in quality or HSE violations occur.
  22. Establish quality objectives and implement quality plans/procedures.
  23. Implement Quality, Health, Safety & Environmental Policy.

Requirements:

  1. Age: 35 to 48
  2. Preferable Nationality: Arabic
  3. Language: English is a must; Arabic is an added advantage.
  4. Experience: 10 years in GCC, preferably in Qatar in a managerial role in an MEP company, with knowledge of MEP operations and industry standards.
  5. Proven track record in executing and managing large MEP projects.
  6. UPDA, QCDD, PMP certifications preferred.
  7. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.

Benefits:

  1. Salary: Full package between QR 30,000 to 35,000 depending on experience.
  2. Other Benefits: Family status, insurance, 30 days paid vacation per year.
