Are you an experienced and passionate sales leader with a proven track record of driving growth in enterprise markets? Verkada is seeking a Regional Vice President, Enterprise Sales to spearhead business growth and expansion and lead our efforts within the Corporate sector of organizations between 2,000 - 20,000 employees (excluding public sector). This critical role involves strategic and tactical planning to achieve aggressive growth targets and ensure alignment with company goals. Reporting to the Vice President of Enterprise Sales , this position will play a pivotal role in driving revenue, developing high-performing teams, and fostering key partnerships to exceed expectations in the East. Responsibilities Strategic Leadership:- Take full ownership of revenue and bookings growth across the [X Region].
- Develop and execute a comprehensive focus plan to maximize growth opportunities.
- Act as a core member of Verkada's Enterprise Leadership Team, contributing to overall strategy and vision.
- Lead and mentor a team of Regional Sales Directors and Enterprise Account Executives.
- Facilitate weekly forecast and pipeline review meetings with direct reports to ensure alignment and success.
- Provide individualized coaching sessions, covering delegation, pipeline management, regional strategy, and performance improvement.
- Actively participate in hiring, onboarding, and mentoring top-tier sales talent with support from in-house recruiting and enablement teams.
- Drive account strategies with a hands-on approach, supporting Regional Sales Directors and Enterprise Account Executives on key deals.
- Foster collaboration across Enterprise Development, Sales Engineering, Channel Development, and partners to deliver exceptional results.
- Build a robust partner ecosystem, working closely with channel partners to create and execute joint sales strategies.
- Deliver accurate, actionable sales forecasts that align with executive expectations.
- Organize and lead strategic and tactical planning sessions for the region.
- 3+ years of experience as a 2nd-line Enterprise sales leader in a technology-driven organization is preferred.
- 3+ years managing enterprise sales teams driving complex technical solutions, particularly in greenfield territories and net-new business acquisition.
- Proven track record as a high-performing sales contributor, successfully navigating large enterprise deals and driving outcomes.
- Willingness to roll up your sleeves, maintain a strong field presence, and actively participate in high-stakes deals.
- Customer-focused with demonstrated success developing and maintaining strong relationships within enterprise accounts.
- Deep understanding of longer, complex sales cycles with multiple buying stakeholders.
- Familiarity with MEDDPICC or similar process-driven sales methodologies (strong preference for MEDDPICC expertise).
- Relevant experience in security software/hardware, networking, subscription-based SaaS, or cloud software is a plus.
- Strong technical aptitude.
- High IQ, EQ, and self-awareness with a passion for continuous improvement.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a strong sense of urgency.
- Bachelor's degree is strongly preferred.
- Willingness to travel up to 50%.
