About the Role:

As a Senior Business Continuity Associate, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring business continuity by identifying risks, designing robust recovery plans, and preparing the organization to respond to disruptions effectively. What You’ll Do:

Collaborate with Departments:

  • Collaborate with departments and stakeholders to understand key processes and interdependencies, assessing potential threats and disruptions that could impact operations.
  • Analyze risks related to natural disasters, cyber threats, and supply chain vulnerabilities, ensuring robust mitigation strategies are in place.

Plan and Prepare:

  • Develop, maintain, and update business continuity and disaster recovery plans aligned with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices.
  • Conduct BCP drills, simulations, and training sessions to educate employees on crisis management roles and foster a culture of preparedness.

Monitor and Improve:

  • Conduct gap analysis based on Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) reports and inspection trends, proposing actionable plans for risk mitigation.
  • Partner with internal and external teams to ensure alignment with ISO 22301:2019 and 45001:2018 standards, contributing to successful audits and compliance.

Lead in Crisis:

  • Coordinate communication and response efforts during disruptions, serving as a vital link between teams to effectively address emergencies.
  • Collaborate with customers, joint ventures, and external stakeholders to execute emergency drills and manage crisis scenarios.
  • Prepare for and participate in audits related to business continuity and disaster recovery, driving continuous improvement in procedures and standards.
  • Stay ahead of emerging risks and industry trends, ensuring the organization remains resilient in an ever-changing environment.

What Makes You a Great Fit:

Qualifications:

  • NEBOSH International/General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety (Preferred).
  • Lead Auditor certifications for ISO 45001:2018 and ISO 22301:2019 (Required).
  • Business Continuity Certification (Preferred).

Experience:

  • Minimum 4 years in a similar role, with hands-on experience in business continuity, safety, and risk management.

Skills:

  • In-depth understanding of business continuity and occupational health and safety legislation.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Strong attention to detail and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Commitment to continuous improvement and adaptability to change.
