Job Summary: As a Senior Design Architect, you will be responsible for leading the conceptual and detailed design phases of various architectural projects. You will work closely with clients, project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to create innovative and functional designs that meet client needs and adhere to regulatory standards. This role requires a high level of creativity, technical expertise, and leadership skills. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design process from concept through completion for multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Develop and present design proposals to clients, incorporating their feedback and ensuring alignment with project goals.
  • Create detailed architectural drawings, 3D models, and renderings using software such as Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, and others.
  • Produce high-quality 3D renderings and animations using Rhino, Lumion, Enscape, and other visualization tools.
  • Ensure designs comply with all relevant building codes, regulations, and standards.
  • Collaborate with clients, engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate various aspects of the design.
  • Coordinate with project managers to ensure designs are feasible, within budget, and on schedule.
  • Conduct design reviews and provide feedback to junior architects and design team members.
  • Oversee the preparation of construction documents and specifications.
  • Stay updated on the latest architectural trends, materials, and technologies.
  • Incorporate sustainable design practices and innovative solutions into projects.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in architectural design, with at least 5 years in a senior or lead role.
  • Preferably Licensed Architect (AIA or equivalent).
  • Proficient in design and rendering software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.
  • Strong skills in creating 3D renderings and animations with the use of Rhino, Lumion, and Enscape.
  • Strong design and conceptual skills.
  • Excellent project management and leadership abilities.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills.
  • Knowledge of building codes, standards, and construction practices.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with project management and client interaction.
  • Experience in a variety of project types, including healthcare, commercial/hospitality, residential, and institutional buildings.
  • LEED accreditation or experience with sustainable design practices.
