Job SummaryResponsible for assessing patients' health and discussing which type of anaesthetic is suitable for them. To provide anaesthesia to patients for operations and procedures.Job ResponsibilitiesAdminister anesthetics and analgesics for pain management prior to, during, or after surgery.Monitor patient before, during, and after anesthesia and counteract adverse reactions or complications.Record type and amount of anesthesia and patient condition throughout procedure.Provide and maintain life support and airway management and help prepare patients for emergency surgery.Administer anesthetic or sedation during medical procedures, using local, intravenous, spinal, or caudal methods.Examine patient, obtain medical history, and use diagnostic tests to determine risk during surgical, obstetrical, and other medical procedures.Provide personal assistance, medical attention, emotional support, or other personal care to others such as coworkers, customers, or patients.Analyze information and evaluate results to choose the best solution and solve problems.Keep up-to-date technically and apply new knowledge to your job.Use relevant information and individual judgment to determine whether events or processes comply with laws, regulations, or standards.Actively participate in the planning and implementation of the department development plans and the different manpower training programs for the medical, technical and nursing staff in his/her area of expertise.Participate in scheduling of on-call duties and provide on-call services.Participate in the assessment and updating of drug, medical supply and equipment needs.Adhere to policies, guidelines, plans and programs of the organization.Perform other duties as assigned/directed by the Head of the department.Job Knowledge & SkillsCurrent and in good standing Medical License to practice in country of residence.Knowledge of the information and techniques needed to diagnose and treat human injuries, diseases, and deformities including symptoms, treatment alternatives, drug properties and interactions, and preventive health-care measures.Knowledge of the chemical composition, structure, and properties of substances and of the chemical processes and transformations that they undergo.Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services.Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.Perfect vision and visuospatial awareness.The ability to work well alone and within a team.ERP knowledge preferably SAP functional skills are a requirement to be successful in this role.Job Experience5 years of experience in a similar role; 2 years in GCC (preferred).CompetenciesAccountabilityDrive Cost OptimizationBuild High-Performing TeamsSpeed of ExecutionBuild Process and SystemsProvide DirectionCollaborationLeadershipQualityResilienceEducationDoctoral degree; Bachelor's Degree in Doctor of Medicine.
