Key Responsibilities:
- Assess patient health, take medical histories, and collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to evaluate physical and mental health.
- Order and review diagnostic tests, such as X-rays and laboratory procedures.
- Administer vaccines and vaccinations to patients as necessary.
- Educate and advise patients and families on topics such as disease prevention, health promotion, and safety.
- Work alongside other healthcare professionals, such as physicians and nutritionists, to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
- Serve as an advocate for patients, ensuring their needs and health are prioritized.
- Prescribe medications and provide necessary treatments.
- Coordinate and oversee primary patient care services.
