Key Job Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be a member of the Global Finance Operations and will be responsible for vendor experience and complex dispute management. Responsibilities will include:- Identifying root causes for problems within the supply chain or in internal Amazon systems and leading the initiative of fixing these problems - conduct follow-up tasks, communicate opportunities for improvement, and agree on action plans.
- Analyze key Supplier trends, govern mediation requirements based on analyzed trends.
- Acting as a main point of contact for TOP Amazon Suppliers, with the goal to develop strong business relationships, create mutual trust, and resolve any conflicts to avoid shipment holds or other business interruptions.
- Prepare vendor health scorecard, conducting reviews and identifying vendor accounts that are likely to become a delivery hold situation and proactively working on their account balances.
- Addressing any account-related inquiries and concerns from vendors and ensuring vendors know to use the Amazon tools.
Other Requirements
- Analyzing metrics relating to operational performance and effectively presenting data to vendors and internal teams.
- Working actively and accurately on an independent basis; giving great attention to detail and displaying the initiative to quickly identify and resolve variances, failures, and discrepancies.
- Interacting with Retail & Finance teams while working on the same vendor account and agreeing on priorities, business decisions, objectives, and communication.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 4+ years of building financial and operational reports/data sets that inform business decision-making experience.
- 4+ years of Accounts Payable (AP) experience.
- 2+ years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience.
- Knowledge of standard software including Excel, Access, Oracle, Essbase, SQL, and VBA skills.
- Experience using data to influence business decisions.
- Experience in corporate finance including budgeting/planning, forecasting, and reporting.
- Master's degree in accounting, information systems, finance, or equivalent.
- Proficient with Advanced Excel; experience using data visualization tools such as Tableau/QuickSight.
- Overall 6+ years’ experience with 4+ years of relevant experience in a data analyst/statistical analysis role.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 2+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience.
- Experience in TM1, Data Warehouse, and SQL.
- 4+ years relevant data analysis and project management experience.
- Able to work with financial analyses, assess and mitigate risk, forecast both long and short-term outcomes, and anticipate and navigate scenarios in a complex business environment.
- Great organizational skills with exceptional follow-through and attention to detail.
- Highly flexible, with the ability to identify, analyze, and solve problems systematically in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving organization.
- Ability to present and clearly communicate complex data, analyses, and findings to non-experts.
