Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities: Develop sales strategies: Develop and implement innovative and effective sales strategies to expand market share and increase revenue. Identify target markets and new business sources in the heavy equipment sector. Managing the sales team: Lead and mentor the sales team to achieve monthly and annual sales goals. Train and develop team members to enhance their technical and commercial skills. Customer Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers. Provide technical advice and customized sales solutions that meet customer needs. Follow up on customer inquiries and ensure effective and prompt solutions are provided. Negotiating and closing: Negotiate with clients on prices, terms and conditions and make commercial offers. Follow up and guide the closing process to ensure opportunities are converted into successful sales. Analyze performance and reports: Prepare periodic reports to senior management on sales performance and analyze market trends. Identify gaps in performance and take the necessary corrective actions. Collaborate with other departments: Work closely with technical support, marketing, and procurement teams to ensure customer requirements are met. Coordinate with after-sales service teams to ensure ongoing customer satisfaction. Research and development: Monitor developments in the heavy equipment industry and analyze competitors to develop innovative sales strategies. Interact with suppliers and manufacturers to follow up on the latest products and solutions.

Job Requirements

  1. At least 10 years of sales experience in air compressors or heavy equipment.
  2. Experience as a manager of at least two years
  3. Strong negotiation and customer relations skills.
  4. Good technical knowledge of products and services in the field.
  5. Ability to work under pressure and achieve goals.
  6. Good command of spoken and written English.
  7. Ability to manage a team and work in a collegial environment.
  8. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration or equivalent.
