This role involves coordinating with suppliers, conducting material testing, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. Roles and Responsibilities:
- Develop material specifications and standards for the project.
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure material quality.
- Conduct material testing and evaluation.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and project requirements.
- Provide technical support to design and construction teams.
- Review and approve material submittals and samples.
- Conduct research on new materials and technologies.
- Prepare and present material reports and documentation.
- Manage material procurement and inventory.
- Collaborate with other disciplines to integrate materials into designs.
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience in material selection and specification.
- Knowledge of construction materials and industry standards.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in material architecture.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
- Experience with sustainable materials and practices.
- Familiarity with material testing methods and standards.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
