Job Title: Electrical Quality Control Inspector Qualifications:
- Diploma (Electrical), Bachelor of Technology/Engineering (Electrical)
- Any Nationality
- Male
- Conduct thorough inspections of electrical systems and components to ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
- Review electrical drawings and specifications to verify accuracy and adherence to project requirements.
- Perform testing and troubleshooting of electrical installations, identifying defects and non-conformities promptly.
- Maintain detailed inspection records and reports to document findings and ensure accountability.
- Collaborate with project engineers and contractors to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Utilize specialized testing equipment, such as multimeters and insulation testers, to assess electrical performance.
- Participate in pre-construction meetings to provide quality assurance input and clarify inspection processes.
- Monitor the installation of electrical systems to ensure they meet project timelines and quality standards.
- Stay updated on the latest electrical codes and standards to ensure compliance in all inspections.
- Train and mentor junior inspectors on best practices and quality control processes in electrical work.
- B. Tech or Diploma in Electrical Engineering
- Experience with Transco projects preferred
- HV Substation experience is mandatory
- A minimum of 5 years of total experience
- Ability to prepare Method Statements, ITP, and inspection check sheets
- Experience in Testing and Commissioning activities, line walkdown, snagging, de-snagging & handover documentation.
