We are seeking an experienced Technical Buyer for an industrial waste processing company specializing in the construction, maintenance, and operation of plants, including structures, conveyors, crushers, screens, washers, and related equipment. The ideal candidate should have 5-10 years of local UAE experience and be willing to relocate to Dubai. Strong computer skills, reporting skills, and a proven track record in procurement within a similar industry are essential. Additionally, the candidate should possess strong local connections with vendors, excellent planning abilities, effective communication skills, and efficient time management. Experience in both local and international sourcing is highly desirable. An attractive salary will be provided based on the candidate's skills and in accordance with industry standards.Responsibilities:· Implement and follow procurement strategies for technical goods and services required for plant construction, maintenance, and operation.· Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers, evaluate their capabilities, and negotiate favourable terms and pricing.· Collaborate with engineering, operations, and maintenance teams to understand technical requirements and ensure timely procurement.· Manage the procurement process, including issuing requests for quotations (RFQs), evaluating bids, and selecting suppliers based on quality, cost, and delivery timelines.· Establish and maintain strong relationships with local and international vendors to ensure a reliable and efficient supply chain.· Monitor inventory levels and consumption patterns to optimize stock levels and reduce lead times.· Coordinate with logistics and warehouse teams to ensure timely delivery and receipt of goods and equipment.· Prepare and maintain accurate procurement records, purchase orders, and related documentation.· Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical procurement practices.· Evaluate and mitigate procurement-related risks and identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.Requirements:· 5-10 years of local UAE experience as a Technical Buyer in an industrial waste processing company, heavy machinery company or similar industry.· Strong knowledge of procurement processes and best practices in the construction and waste processing sector.· Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office applications and procurement software ERP's.· Proven experience in technical procurement, with a focus on equipment and services related to industrial waste processing and mining machineries.· Established local connections with vendors and suppliers in the UAE.· Demonstrated ability in vendor evaluation, negotiation, and supplier management.· Strong planning and organizational skills to manage multiple procurement activities.· Effective communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders.· Time management skills to meet project deadlines and manage procurement schedules.· Willingness to relocate to Dubai, United Arab Emirates.· Experience in both local and international sourcing is highly desirable.· Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.We offer an attractive salary package based on the candidate's skills and experience, in accordance with industry standards.
