Responsibilites Leadership and Team Management:

Lead, mentor, and develop the accounts payable team, ensuring high performance and professional growth.
Foster a collaborative and positive work environment within the finance department.

Accounts Payable Operations:

Oversee the full cycle of accounts payable processes for the companies within the group, including invoice processing, payment disbursements, and vendor management.
Ensure timely and accurate processing of all accounts payable transactions.
Implement and maintain best practices and standard operating procedures for accounts payable.

Cost Center Management:

Monitor and manage cost centers across the group of companies to ensure accurate allocation of expenses.
Collaborate with department heads to develop and maintain cost center budgets.
Provide regular reports and analysis on cost center performance to senior management.

Compliance and Risk Management:

Ensure compliance with internal financial policies, procedures, and external regulations.
Conduct regular audits and reviews of accounts payable processes to identify and mitigate risks.
Manage relationships with external auditors and facilitate audit processes.

Financial Reporting and Analysis:

Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual accounts payable reports to senior management.
Analyze accounts payable data to identify trends, opportunities for cost savings, and process improvements.
Support the preparation of financial statements and reports as needed.

Process Improvement and Automation:

Identify opportunities to enhance accounts payable processes through automation and technology.
Lead initiatives to implement new systems or tools that improve efficiency and accuracy.
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in accounts payable management.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers.
Negotiate payment terms and resolve any issues or discrepancies with vendors.
Ensure timely and accurate processing of vendor payments.

Budgeting and Forecasting:

Collaborate with the finance team to support the budgeting and forecasting processes.
Provide insights and recommendations for cost control and efficiency improvements.
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. A Master's degree or professional certifications (such as CPA, CFA, CMA) is preferred.
At least 15 years of experience in finance or financial management with 5 years in a leadership capacvity
A background in either Construction and/or Real Estate Development
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a high-performing team.
In-depth knowledge of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation
Strong understanding of local financial regulations
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail.
