Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports, budgets, and statements.
  • Process invoices, expense reports, and payment transactions accurately and timely.
  • Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions to ensure financial accuracy.
  • Maintain accurate and organized financial records and documentation.
  • Assist in the preparation and submission of tax forms, including sales tax and payroll tax returns.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing procedures.
  • Assist in payroll processing, ensuring accurate and timely payment of employee salaries and benefits.
  • Respond to inquiries and resolve issues related to accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger accounts.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.
  • Support the finance team in ad hoc projects and tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Finance Assistant, Accounts Assistant, or similar role.
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
