Job Description:

The Superintendent of the school is responsible for leading and directing all areas of teaching and learning, including curriculum, data analysis, and professional development. Key Responsibilities include:

• Leading the administrative, instructional, and support services teams to achieve excellence in educational programs and operating systems.
• Developing and implementing a system of supervision and evaluation for all staff.
• Overseeing the use of facilities, property, and funds in the best interests of students and the school system.

The School Director will also be responsible for the effective operation of the school, general administration of all instructional, business, or other operations of the school, and advising and making recommendations to the Board with respect to such activities. A key aspect of this role is developing and recommending objectives and long-range plans for the educational system, as well as ensuring sound plans of organization, educational programs, and services are developed and maintained. This position requires a Teaching Credential/License and involves direct responsibility for news releases and/or other items of public interest emanating from all employees that pertain to education matters, policies, procedures, school-related incidents, or events. #J-18808-Ljbffr
