Responsibilities:

Act as a focal point, providing continuity for the airline company's needs and requirements.

Responsible for all demand requests associated with your airline/customer portfolio, ensuring these demands are raised and fulfilled in a timely manner in accordance with contracted requirements. Identify sources of supply, highlight potential shortfalls, and propose possible solutions with the supplier and airline/customer.

Provide a weekly update to the operational team, including when various checks and modifications are taking place, ensuring that shipping routes are pre-empted and timely updates to the airline/customer.

Assist with the airline/customer's daily operational demands process, aiding in the fulfillment of customer requests.

Monitor customer backlogs, ensuring delays are minimized while maintaining excellent communication with the customer regarding potential alternative solutions and disruptions of supply.

Regularly check the inventory to fulfill customer requirements.

In case of a Nil or No stock situation within the inventory, investigate possible fulfillment of the open demand by expediting Repair/Purchase Orders or FOC exchange with the Repair vendor. Review the system for alternatives and OEM websites for stock alternatives. If demand cannot be satisfied, tender the market for the most cost-efficient supply solution.

Once the demand has been fulfilled, follow through until shipping information has been provided by the freight forwarder and communicate this information and any updates to the customer.

Provide feedback to the Senior Operations Managers on future improvements and changes to enhance operations.

Engage proactively with the allocated Program Managers to ensure implementation of all contractual requirements, guaranteeing customer satisfaction and meeting contract obligations.

Identify potential problems and risks related to demand fulfillment early, evaluating and anticipating implications, and proactively develop contingency/recovery plans with stakeholders.

Maintain personal training and development, ensuring all mandatory courses are completed within My Connection, and adhere to all company policies and procedures.

Ensure that where consumption can be forecast (usually for scheduled maintenance), economic provisioning action is taken to provide requirements in a timely fashion, potentially working closely with the Chicago-based Inventory Manager.

Explore the market for new suppliers to improve effectiveness, increase profitability, or enable the company to engage in a wider range of activities.

Review customer MBKs and report on the status of fulfillment, initiating required transactions to maintain the MBK within agreed parameters. Recommend changes to the MBK in conjunction with the Program Managers to ensure key operational components meet fleet evolution and contracted deliveries.

Ensure all components' float levels accurately reflect operational requirements by producing statistical analyses to highlight and rectify any surplus or shortfall.

Review reorder levels and minimum order quantities for efficiency to prevent over-stocking and/or stock-outs at all warehouses.

Establish and maintain a high quality of service to internal and external stakeholders.

Build and maintain good customer relationships, making yourself available to answer customer questions in a timely manner.

Report all information collected regarding issues, complaints, customer internal changes, best contact/interlocutor, and fleet evolution.

Manage personal financial events raised against the operational team, ensuring these are reviewed daily, actioned accordingly, and approved in a timely manner to avoid disruption to the invoice clearance process.

Perform ad-hoc duties as requested.
