This is your opportunity to discover the most challenging projects, develop as a professional to reach your career goals.Description and Desired QualificationsCH2M HILL Lead Civil/Structural Engineer - Abu Dhabi, UAEJob Purpose:To lead a team of Sr. Engineers, Engineers, Sr. Designer, Designers & Draftsmen.Job Responsibilities/Accountabilities:Lead independently a team of Sr. Engineers/Engineers, Sr. Designers/Designers & Draftsmen within discipline;Ensure effective communications and co-ordinations between all supervised staff, Lead Engineers of other departments and Project Managers, to ensure mutual awareness of requirements and sharing of information.Job Requirements/Qualifications/Experience:A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering;15+ years of experience in professional civil/structural engineering, involving design, planning, checking, general management and supervisory responsibility in oil & gas industry;Must have worked at least 5 years as Senior Engineer, supervising and guiding a team of engineers & designers;Experience in reviewing Key Deliverables prepared by Civil/Structural team or produced by other work-share offices;Has clearly demonstrated strong engineering competence, interpersonal/team building skills & leadership skills;Thorough knowledge of industry practices, codes and standards applicable to structural engineering. Working knowledge in general civil works like grading, paving, roads, drainage systems and other underground services;Hands-on experience in industry software, such as STAAD Pro, SAP, 3D Model Review Tools (SPR & NavisWorks), MathCAD, Foundation 3D, MS Office Suite, etc.;Basic knowledge of AutoCAD, Microstation and 3D Modeling Tools (PDS, SP3D, PDMS, CadWorx, AutoPlant, etc.);Should have excellent communication skills essential for Client, Interdisciplinary and Vendor coordination, and coordination with other work-share offices.About The CompanyAs a global leader in consulting, design, design-build, operations, and program management, CH2M HILL has the human and technical resources, the international footprint, and the depth of know-how and experience to help clients achieve success in any corner of the world.At CH2M HILL, we always strive to perform above your expectations and our industry's standards.
