Job ResponsibilitiesConduct agency operations in compliance with ISO 9001-2015 standards.Ensure timely fulfillment of client requirements.Effectively address client complaints and ensure client satisfaction.Execute instructions from masters and principals to their complete satisfaction.Ensure prompt dissemination of relevant information to concerned parties in accordance with company protocols.Transmit pertinent information to boarding officers and the disbursement accounts department following company policies.Acknowledge all messages during office hours within one hour of receipt; messages received outside working hours must be acknowledged by 0930 hours the next working day.Coordinate with principals, shippers, receivers, and port services regarding branch and department operations.Provide efficient ship agency services, including handling major incidents such as oil spills, collisions, immigration or personal injury issues, and ITF problems, and liaising with terminal and harbour authorities as well as advising owners and/or Masters on insurance matters.Facilitate effective communication of data within the agency department and with the accounts department.Maintain up-to-date and orderly ship and cargo files to ensure awareness of current positions and operations among personnel.Conduct mandatory visits to vessels in port, during port stays, and during dry-docks, and meet with vessel Masters.Monitor compliance with company procedures for dealings with Customs, Immigration Authorities, Port Health, Port Authority, and other port services.Hold regular operations meetings and impart best practices, knowledge, and experience to junior team members.Follow up on pre-funding and ensure receipt of all funds, as well as follow up on debtors.Maintain vessel tracking databases and debtors' databases with weekly follow-ups.Job Type: Full-timePay: From AED10,000.00 per monthExperience:Shipping operations: 5 years (Required)Application Deadline: 15/11/2024
