Take advantage of new opportunities and take on exciting tasks and attractive positions with direct customer assignment.Job DescriptionThe Workshop Technician is responsible for repairing and maintaining vehicles, equipment, tools, etc. to meet client standards.Receiving the vehicle, equipment, tool etc. and indicating the problem for reparation.Checking up the breakdown by indicating if it will be repaired or replaced by another spare part.Preparing all the necessary measurements for quantity and quality of materials and spare parts.Ensuring that vehicle, equipment, tool etc. has no problems before delivering.Responding to work orders in a timely and courteous manner.Executing safety and hygiene instructions inside the workshop place.Maintaining all tools and equipment in good repair and working condition.Using the safety and preventive uniform (PPEs).Keeping all materials clean and organized.Scheduling and completing the 'Preventative Maintenance Program'.Monitoring and maintaining all building systems as assigned.Responsible for 24 hour emergency maintenance service as scheduled.Not starting or stopping any activity if believing it cannot be done safely, or it fails to meet client environmental and health standards.Following the job safety plans and requirements laid down in the Permit to Work form.Following Veolia rules, procedures, and work instructions.Responding rapidly to requests for emergency and non-emergency assistance in a professional manner.Training and developing subordinates.Coordinating with Veolia employees to achieve the required tasks.Diligently performing any other reasonable work or related tasks at the request of the senior.QualificationsExcellent analytical and reporting skills.UAE valid light vehicle driving license is an advantage.Innovative and continuous improvement mindset.Effective problem identification, problem solving and improvement implementation.General knowledge of environmental hazards.Ability to make effective decisions.Plan and prioritize a substantial workload.Analytical capabilities.Ability to classify accidents.Knowledge of First Aid.Hold a relevant educational qualification from a well-recognized and reputable academic institution fit for the required job function. SSC, Diploma in Mechanic or equivalent is an advantage.At least 5 years of relevant experience and preferably in an industrial environment.Additional InformationMUST BE IMMEDIATELY AVAILABLE FROM NEXT WEEK
