Position Overview:

TheProcurement & Contracts Managerwill be based in the Dubai office and will lead the procurement sales team in driving procurement strategies, managing contracts, and achieving the division's sales targets. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in sourcing, procurement and contract management, with a proven ability to lead teams, negotiate effectively, and optimize procurement processes. The role also involves building strong relationships with suppliers and clients to ensure project success and maintaining a high standard of operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Team Leadership & Sales Target Achievement:

Lead the procurement sales team in developing and executing strategies to meet and exceed sales targets.

Set clear goals, monitor performance, and provide ongoing coaching and support to ensure the team's success.

Foster a collaborative, high-performance culture within the team, ensuring alignment with company objectives.

Procurement Strategy & Management:

Develop and implement procurement strategies that enhance efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

Lead supplier selection, contract negotiations, and procurement planning to secure the best terms and maintain supplier relationships.

Oversee the end-to-end procurement process, ensuring timely delivery of goods and services compliant with client contracts.

Supplier & Client Relationships:

Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and clients, ensuring high standards of service and satisfaction.

Monitor supplier performance and address any issues or risks to maintain continuity and quality in the supply chain.

Collaborate with clients, buyers and supply chain team to improve efficiency in supply chain and circulate the cashflow minimum 3 times a year.

Process Improvement & Risk Management:

Continuously assess procurement division and contract management processes, identifying opportunities for improvement.

Implement best practices to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and mitigate risks.

Develop and maintain risk management frameworks to ensure all sourcing and supply activities are compliant with legal and regulatory standards.

Reporting & Performance Monitoring:

Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to procurement, contracts, and sales targets.

Provide regular monthly update to senior management on team performance, sourcing improvement capabilities, awarded contract status and sales achievements.

Analyze data to identify trends and recommend adjustments to improve overall performance.

Qualifications:

Master's degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.

Proven experience in procurement and contracts management, with at least 5+ years in a managerial leadership role.

Strong knowledge of the industry, procurement strategies, supplier management, and contract negotiations.

Excellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to drive results.

Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

Experience in managing sales teams and achieving targets.

Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and adapt to changing priorities.

Familiarity with procurement and contract management software is a plus.
